Member Dashes for Cash at GEHS

Wednesday night was very exciting during the girl’s basketball game at Greenbrier East High School. Not only did the Lady Spartans crush the Capital Cougars from Charleston, WV, but our very own Vice President and General Manager Larry Klein purchased the winning ticket for “Dash for Cash”. (The money from ticket sales goes to support the GEHS sports program.)

Normally the winners choose a kid to dash for them, Larry decided to choose Sporting Club Member Byron Rausenberger. He had 15 seconds to grab as much of the $2,000 that was littering the gym floor as he could. He did a great slide and collected $147 in singles from the Spartan floor. Reportedly there were a couple larger bills, but alas he did not find them. (The $147 won that night was happily donated to the Greenbrier Humane Society.)
