Main Street – White Sulphur Springs, WV is hosting a scarecrow decorating contest from October 2nd through Third Thursday, October 18th.


Nancy Gilmore, Stable Manager, was charged with masterminding the GSC entry and the creative exhibit is a must see. Nancy’s headless horseman (life size horse included!) is located across from the GSC Village Run Road Gate on Main Street.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to drive through town and vote on their favorite scarecrow placed on the lightpoles, flagpoles, rails or trees along Main Street.
