It has just been announced that our Executive Chef, Jim Butchart, will compete in Journey For The Cure’s “Rockin’ the Runway Fashion and Culinary Challenge” at America’s Polo Cup this Friday, May 9th. This exciting, unique event is being held to help fund research grants for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and other charitable organizations.
Jim is among other American Chefs that will face off against Italian chefs to see which country can create the most appetizing treats for over 1,000 attendees. The Italian team is led by Chef Fortunato Nicotra and Chef Enzo Febbaro as part of a six-chef team looking to knock off Jim and the other American chefs to claim the bragging rights and to have a little fun in the process. Famed Chef, Patrick O’Connell of the Inn at Little Washington will be the Grande Judge.
