On Tuesday, March 26th, DPS Development participated in the 2009 Swan Ball auction in Nashville, TX. A great preamble to the highly anticipated Swan Ball in June, which brings together over 800 guests for what is considered to be one of the five best charity balls in the nation! The auction, held at the posh Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, brought together over 250 of Nashville’s finest to benefit The Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Nashville Museum of Art. DPS Sporting Club representatives, Ceci Richard and Betsy Bingle, attended the event which included a silent auction gathering over 40 items, as well as a live auction with at least 50 trips from all over the world. Both Turks & Caicos Sporting Club and The Greenbrier Sporting Club donated auction packages to the evening’s auctions. Guests dined on on baby lamb chops, crab cakes, scallop sashimi and blackberry crème brulèe served in mini Japanese soup spoons for dessert! The evening was a huge success and DPS looks forward to continuing its partnership with The Cheekwood Swan Ball in the future. To learn more about the upcoming white tie gala in June, click here.
