In this video Fuzzy Davis invites you to compete against other DPS Sporting Clubs in the Shallow Water Shootout this May 15 through 18.
The Turks and Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay will host the 3rd annual Sporting Club fishing competition, The Shallow Water Shootout, during May 15 though 18. This year, anglers will fish for bonefish on the sugar-white flats of Ambergris Cay, Little Ambergris Cay, and the flats of South Caicos.
The competing Sporting Clubs will include Turks and Caicos Sporting Club, The Greenbrier Sporting Club and Deep Water Cay Club. Each club will have one team, which will include three club members and the Outdoor Pursuit Director from that club. We do have limited space for competing anglers but we have ample accommodations for non-fishing family members. Please bring your spouse, children or guests and they will be able to snorkel, reef fish or simply relax around the pool at Calico Jack’s Pavilion while you are reeling in the big ones.
The cost per angler single occupancy is $3,000 and $2,438 for double occupancy. This price includes an ocean front room, two days fishing, flights to and from Ambergris Cay from Providenciales and from Ambergris Cay to South Caicos, breakfasts, lunches, the Captains Meeting and Awards Dinner. The cost per non angler is $1,100.
